Fitness in the Village

I am a very client focused Personal Trainer and Massage Therapist, it is in my nature to build a rapport with people, and especially my clients.

I really want my clients to achieve their goals as much as they do themselves, and take great satisfaction from seeing them over time improve all aspects of their health and fitness, not just physically but mentally also.

There is nothing better than watching someone overcome the hurdles in front of them, better their bodies and minds and gain self-confidence, it actually makes me feel very proud of them.

Working in a previous very successful career in the Film and Television industry allowed extensive travel throughout the world, working on various shows and films, including films such as Lord of The Rings and King Kong. During my time living in Australia I was also a registered member of Fitness Australia (official register for fitness therapists)

Whilst I feel lucky and fortunate to have done this – it was very exciting and fulfilling in many aspects, I craved another challenge, a challenge that I had sole control over in a subject that I was very passionate about. I developed a self-imposed determination to build a health and fitness business where I could reach the general public in order to vastly improve their health and fitness.

Over many years I had gained considerable knowledge of extremely effective exercise, nutrition and treatment practices and just knew I had to channel my knowledge and enthusiasm into this and use it to change the lives for the better of as many people as I could.

During my travels I experienced many inspiring moments, one such moment was coming across a certain middle aged gentleman who was of average height and average build, but possessed the most extraordinary fitness, strength and endurance levels, and all down to “back to basics” eating habits and hard training without a machine in sight!

I had to find out more, and I did...much, much more!

This further inspired me to do endless amounts of research over many years.

That dedication to find the most effective and healthy strategies to transform ordinary people into very fit and healthy beings` drove me to where I am today.

Exams and qualifications are important of course, but I wanted much, much more than that. Following many years of research and networking I knew I was able to offer what I believe to be extremely effective and tailored solutions to people who want to improve their bodies and minds.

I always knew I could make a significant difference to the “man or woman on the street” and wanted to make use of all this research and knowledge in the most hands-on way that I could.

Achieving permanent weight loss, reaching fitness potentials and significant improvements of health and well-being are all what I strive to help people with.

I am still horrified at the amount of bad advice and immoral marketing that exists! I want to spread better, healthier advice and habits.

By working alone, I don`t have to adhere to management systems and protocols, enabling me to be refreshingly honest and more expressive with my strategies to help people. I enjoy the company of honest and open-minded people, whether that be in a work or social environment.
